During the financial year, Hubb Leicestershire CIC delivered a range of community-focused activities aimed at supporting families, young people and the wider local community. These activities included educational, wellbeing, recreational and social initiatives designed to promote inclusion, personal development and community cohesion. The company provided accessible and affordable sessions that supported learning, physical activity and positive social engagement, particularly for families and young people within the local area. Activities were delivered in a welcoming environment and were open to members of the community regardless of background. Any surplus generated during the year was retained within the company and reinvested to support the continuation and development of future community activities, in line with the company’s community interest objectives.
The company’s stakeholders include participants, families, volunteers and members of the local community. Feedback was gathered informally through conversations at activities and events, as well as through direct communication with participants and volunteers. This feedback was used to make practical adjustments to the scheduling, content and accessibility of activities in order to better meet community needs.
