Three amateur performances of the play "The Revlon Girl" were staged in Market Overton Village Hall in Rutland. All performers were local ladies who had encountered difficulties in being cast in local amateur productions due to their mature years. Audiences were comprised of local people who would not have usually had easy access to performances of plays in their village and who were deeply grateful to the AG50 Company for bringing theatre into the heart of the community.
