Company activities and impact

PART 1 - GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY’S ACTIVITIES AND IMPACT In the space provided below, please insert a general account of the company’s activities in the financial year to which the report relates, including a description of how they have benefited the community. Since September, 2024, Mandy’s Pantry has delivered fun workshops, projects and programmes at a grassroots level to help individuals and the community learn how to cook healthy food on a budget. We work with people in the volunteering, education, training and the community sector to engage with people and promote the courses. This year we have run 56 sessions between 2-4 hours each, reaching approximately 600 people, aged 3- 80 years old, at grassroots level in our community. We have delivered sessions for individuals, groups and family groups. We work with local community organisations, i.e. YMCA, Fusion, Community Family Hubs, West Marsh Centre, St Hugh’s Centre, Scouts, The Equality Practice, We are FISH, (SEND Organisation), Green Futures, North East Lincs Carers. We have also delivered sessions independently with Fairways Elderly/Disabled people. More recently, we set up a Nutritional Soup Making Course in Partnership with The Equality Practice and funded through Warm Spaces, (N.E. Lincs). The intention is to teach people how to make healthy soups to benefit issues such as cold and flu. A minimum of 50 people are attending this programme. All are isolated, low in income and vulnerable. We have also worked with three volunteers, giving them the opportunity to present, cook, learn and become more confident.

Consultation with stakeholders

We consult with stakeholders and partners who set up the programmes, such as the YMCA, on their client needs, on accessibility and what their difficulties may be. Once beginning the programme, although we do not do formal consultations as this is a hands-on practical course, we continually discuss the needs and wants of the participants as they cook. Groups often decide what they want to learn next and what would be most useful to them. (If applicable, please just state “A social audit report covering these points is attached”)

Directors' remuneration

There will be full accounts submitted to HMRC and Companies House along with this document. There are three directors, of whom only one works in the company hands-on. She designs, delivers and coordinates all work, including finding funding. Her remuneration is paid on a project by project basis. We did receive an Awards for All Funding Pot for 2025-2026 and for her role in this, she will receive £13,320 total across 16 months. This began in April, 2025 and will finish by July, 2026
