Year Ending: 31 March 2025

Company activities and impact

During the financial year 2024–2025, INKLUDER CIC continued to operate as a local LGBTQ+ community organisation focused on increasing visibility, safety, and access to inclusive social and cultural activity within the London Borough of Barnet. The company’s activities benefited the community in the following ways: INKLUDER delivered and supported inclusive community events and social spaces that enabled LGBTQ+ people and allies to connect locally, reducing social isolation and the need to travel outside the borough to access safe and affirming environments. The organisation worked with local venues, creatives, and service providers to embed inclusive language and practices into public-facing activities, helping to normalise LGBTQ+ inclusion within everyday community settings. INKLUDER provided paid opportunities for local performers, facilitators, and freelancers, supporting creative livelihoods and ensuring that community work was delivered ethically rather than relying on unpaid labour. The company continued to advocate for LGBTQ+ visibility within local civic and cultural spaces, supporting Pride-related activity and strengthening relationships between the LGBTQ+ community, local businesses, and voluntary sector partners. Through its events and outreach, INKLUDER created low-barrier entry points for people who may otherwise feel excluded from traditional LGBTQ+ spaces, including those who are older, disabled, neurodivergent, or new to exploring their identity. All income generated during the year was reinvested directly into community activity, event delivery, and organisational development in line with the company’s community interest objectives. No profits were distributed to directors or shareholders.
