Principal activities of the company

Principal Activities of the Company Co Farmers at Wellies On gain in confidence build resilience improve mental health and wellbeing and find meaning and purpose in their lives Wellies On can offer a route into further learning such as local colleges by building confidence and self esteem enabling some of societies more vulnerable groups to realise their potential. This in turn can increase future employment prospects. for some we can offer a way into volunteering within their local community in a range of settings Co farmers can spend time with us in a safe and supportive environment learning new skills building confidence discovering what they are capable of and understanding what they have to offer to the wider community. We offer the opportunity to build friendships and potentially widen natural support networks therefore lessening the need for other more formal interventions

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Other accounting policies

    Accounting Policies Financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provision of Section A Small Entities of Financial Reporting Standard 102 Other Accounting Policies Turnover Policy Turnover is recognised to the extent that it is probable the economic benefits will flow to the company and the turnover can be reliably measured. Turnover is measures as the fair value of the consideration received or receivable excluding discount rebates value added tax and other sales taxes. The following criteria must also be met before turnover is recognised Rendering of services . Turnover from a contract to provide services is recognised in the period in which the services are provided in accordance with the stage of completion of the contract with all of the following condition are satisfied. The amount of turnover can be measured reliably and it is probable that the company will receive the consideration due under the contract. The stare of completion of the contract at the end of reporting period can be measured reliably and the costs incurred and the costs to complete the contract can be measured reliably. Other accounting policies Grants policy are accounted under the accruals model as permitted by FRS 102. Grant of £26198 is consist of restricted grant from Be well fund that will be spent in the following financial year

Company activities and impact

Wellies On CIC is a working farm and care farm delivering therapeutic and educational sessions to people who are socially disenfranchised by involving them as co farmers in a day to day farming and horticultural activities The Centre uses a wide range of activities and tools to support Co Farmers to gain confidence and develop self esteem Wellies On promotes social inclusion for the public benefit by involving and rehabilitating people through real and meaningful activity. Benefits to the community include bur are not limited to Co Farmers can gain qualifications accreditation cry and Guilds gateway Qualifications therefore increasing employment prospects For younger Co Farmers we can offer a way to gain confidence build resilience and eventually integrate back into a more mainstream educational environment Wellies On can offer a route into further learning such as Otley College and Writtle College by building confidence and self esteem enabling some of societies more vulnerable groups realise their potential This in turn can increase future employment prospects
