THE COMPANY RUNS AN ANNUAL ONE DAY FESTIVAL ON FATHER’S DAY AT WHICH STEAM AND VINTAGE/CLASSIC VEHICLES ARE EXHIBITED, ALONG WITH OTHER HERITAGE ASSETS. ENTERTAINMENT IS PROVIDED AND MANY STALLS OFFER VISITORS THE OPPORTUNITY TO BUY REFRESHMENTS, GIFTS OR HAVE FUN. OVER 6000 LOCAL PEOPLE VISIT ON THE DAY AND OVER 500 EXHIBITS, STALLS AND CATERERS ARE ON SHOW. FOR A FULLER APPRECIATION VISIT http://www.marsworthsteamrally.co.uk/ ALL SURPLUSES ARE USED TO MAKE CHARITABLE DONATIONS TO WORTHY LOCAL AND NATIONAL CAUSES. A DOZEN LOCAL CHARITIES RUN FUNDRAISING STALLS AND OTHERS, ESPECIALLY SCOUTS, HELP TO RUN THE RALLY.
STAKEHOLDERS ARE BOTH LOCAL RESIDENTS AND PEOPLE INTERESTED IN HERITAGE VEHICLES, ENGINES AND EQUIPMENT FROM FAR AND WIDE. THE COMPANY’S DIRECTORS AND ITS OPERATING COMMITTEE MEMBERS ALL LIVE LOCALLY AND ARE IN CONSTANT CONTACT WITH LOCAL RESIDENTS DISCUSSING PLANS FOR THE FORTHCOMING EVENT AND IMPROVEMENTS WHICH CAN BE MADE OVER PREVIOUS EVENTS. IN ADDITION LOCAL AND NATIONAL CHARITIES MAKE THEMSELVES KNOWN AS POTENTIAL BENEFICIARIES.
