Directors' report period ended 30 April 2025

The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 30 April 2025

Principal activities of the company

Directors Report, Walsall Bike Project CIC . Prepared by Stephen Price. The year 01/05/24 to 30/04/25 There have been no major changes over this period either financially or in our delivery to the community. Palfrey has been a success as usual, thanks to Raj and the volunteers. Take up of some courses was slow and we are looking at ways of improving matters. We are looking at improving our access to grants to support our work, sales are very slow generally and reflect the second hand cycle market generally. We are lucky that we pay peppercorn rent and have a good relationship with our landlords. Going forward we are getting rid of the warehouse facility as well as trying to get a better relationship with schools to increase revenue from servicing of their bikes as well as improving the chances for children to access bikes and training which is woeful if the Borough currently. We attended several community days and meetings with local authority , NHS , housing organisations over this period. Financially we do need to improve matters as the person running the workshop is on minimum wage and volunteers a lot of time as well Steve Price Director
