For the year ending 31 March 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

Company activities and impact

The company has benefitted residents of West Lancashire and Wigan by offering a range of activities that benefits health and wellbeing. This has helped to reduce loneliness and isolation and has positively impacted attendees mental health and wellbeing. It has helped people to make new friends and contacts that has empowered people to make positive life changes. This company has helped in excess of 50 people of differing demographics to become less isolated. we have been able to signpost users to other services to support their needs.

Consultation with stakeholders

the company have regularly held consultations to look at activities provided and this has helped to drive changes to particular activities and to create opportunities to deliver alternative activities that meet the needs of the attendees. as a result we have been able to provide days out that create new interests for attendees, such as visit to museums and art galleries. attending wildlife and nature reserves that in turn led to a project regarding painting, drawing and creative writing. developing craft ideas through collecting items in nature. particular music interests have resulted in theatre trips. we have provided a wide range of crafts, working with pyrography, glass painting, crystal making, card making to name a few. This allows attendees to make friends and to talk about issues in a friendly atmosphere. we regularly collect attendees thoughts on what works for them, how the activities provided have helped with their wellbeing. how we could improve on things we provide and what do we need to do in the future.
