EMPOWER TO COOK COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY

Company Number: 09255178 (England and Wales)

Company activities and impact

Our community kitchen was previously open to events and teaching. This we share with Khepera CIC. We have now ceased this activity. Our funding from the Rothschild Foundation around food sustainability and food poverty in Bucks came to an end in 2024 and activities have been wound down since then. We now plan to close the company.

Consultation with stakeholders

We consulted widely with local authority, community representatives as well as other organisations in this sector. Plus, major funders for specific projects. This includes Bucks Council and the Rothschild Foundation. Plus charities, in particular Talkback and corporate partners.

Directors' remuneration

Salary of £3,515 paid to Michael Brown for the period ending 30th September 2025
