The company has proactively developed the game of Blind Baseball in the UK. We have done this by: Running Outreach sessions - Taking place at multiple sites including visually impaired clubs, schools and taster events and festivals. Supporting Existing Clubs - Providing coaching, equipment, coach education, competition and a pathway to elite level representation Increasing Workforce - This includes the development and upskilling of new coaches, sited assistants and umpires. Offering a comprehensive competition structure - facilitating multiple domestic fixtures between clubs and creating a competitive league structure based in the North West of England.
We have consulted throughout the year with key stakeholders. These stakeholders include club leaders, players, officials, coaches and funders. This consultation has been part of regular communication throughout the year in order to support the needs of those involved and to understand the most productive way of developing the game. We have also consulted with relevant bodies such as British Blind Sport and WBSC to help further develop the game both nationally and interantionally.
A total of £5,480 has been paid to director Sheraz Chohan for his services in the project management of a National Lottery funded project.
