The company delivers community-based tennis and mentoring programmes aimed at increasing access to sport for people from under-represented backgrounds. The programmes focus on affordability, inclusion and creating welcoming environments for both children and adults within local communities. During the financial year ended 31 March 2025, over 80 children and young people aged between 5 and 18 were able to access regular and affordable tennis coaching that would otherwise have been financially inaccessible. These sessions supported increased physical activity and contributed to improved confidence, wellbeing and long-term engagement in sport. In addition to junior delivery, the company delivered weekly adult community tennis sessions, enabling more than 150 adults to participate in regular physical activity in an inclusive, social and non-judgemental environment. These sessions supported improved mental wellbeing, social connection and consistency in physical exercise, particularly for individuals who had not previously participated in organised sport. The activities also benefited families and the wider community, with over 30 families engaging with structured community sessions that encouraged routine, discipline and positive social interaction. Regular delivery helped strengthen relationships between participants, parents and local partners. Furthermore, the programme created paid sessional work and development opportunities for 6 local coaches, supporting employment, skills development and progression pathways within the local community. Through partnerships with schools, community organisations and local groups, the company strengthened local networks and expanded inclusive pathways into tennis for people of all ages. In addition to tennis delivery, the company provided mentoring and personal development support to young people and early-stage coaches throughout the year. This included informal mentoring, guidance around education, career pathways and progression within sport, as well as ongoing pastoral support. Through this work, participants were encouraged to develop confidence, resilience and leadership skills, supporting positive outcomes both on and off the court. The mentoring element of the programme played a key role in helping individuals feel supported, valued and connected, further strengthening the long-term impact of the company’s community work.
