Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 July 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The directors have chosen not to file a copy of the company's profit and loss account.

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible assets are included at cost less depreciation and impairment. Depreciation has been provided at the following rates in order to write off the assets over their estimated useful lives: Plant & machinery 20% reducing balance Motor vehicles 20% reducing balance

Company activities and impact

Young Technicians principal activity is the provision of Alternative Education (AP) to young people who can not attend mainstream education. We engage with them on a personal level and teach them in the creative arts subjects as well mainstream subject such as English & Maths. We also have after school activities that engage with young people within creative arts and technology subjects. We have grown our offering over the past 12 months and have engaged with more young people giving the confidence and skills to engage with the wider community.

Consultation with stakeholders

We consult with young people through committees that they run around the courses and after school activities that we offer. We consult with local authorities and other educational authorities as to the services we offer and the standard of our services.

Directors' remuneration

The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £45,000.

No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
