Company Number: 11473387 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 July 2025

Company activities and impact

My community forest school sessions are designed to be flexible, inclusive, and supportive of a wide range of families. For those with toddlers, sessions provide a gentle, play-based introduction to the natural world, with activities that encourage sensory exploration, movement, and early social interaction in a safe, nurturing environment. For home-educating families, the sessions offer rich, child-led learning opportunities that complement and enhance their educational approach, supporting curiosity, resilience, and practical skills through regular, hands-on outdoor experiences. During school holidays, the sessions create a welcoming space for families to connect, explore, and enjoy meaningful time together outdoors, helping to meet the increased need for engaging, affordable activities. Across all groups, the forest school ethos fosters a sense of community, wellbeing, and belonging for both children and their caregivers.

Consultation with stakeholders

Children and families are encouraged to share their ideas, interests, and feedback to help shape session themes, activities, and the scheduling of sessions. This collaborative approach ensures the sessions remain relevant, engaging, and responsive to the needs of the community.
