Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 July 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

Company activities and impact

We Are All Disabled is a Community Interest Company with the social aim to explore, challenge and change perceptions in order to normalise disability as part of the human experience and promote the ‘Affirmative’ model of disability, which celebrates difference and promotes empathy and understanding. WAAD works with businesses and organisations to create real, positive and lasting cultural transformation through opening up conversations, sharing lived experience, encouraging discussion and debate and empowering people to take accountable action. WAAD delivered numerous disability awareness presentations and workshops to a range of organisations across the corporate, public and charity sectors both in the north east and beyond, fostering a more affirmative and inclusive approach to disability and increasing employment opportunities for disabled people.

Consultation with stakeholders

WAAD is committed to continuous review and development of its products and services in order to provide the most effective and impactful experience and outcomes for clients. Evaluation forms are provided to all workshop participants to gain feedback on individual sessions and regular debrief and review meetings are held with clients. As a small organisation, WAAD has the ability to be flexible and responsive to the needs of clients and takes a collaborative and innovative approach to the ongoing development of products and services.
