    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    The total turnover of the company for the period 1st August 2024 to 31st July 2025 is measured at fair value of the consideration received or receivable in the ordinary course of the business.

    Other accounting policies

    Going Concern At the time of approving the financial statements, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus the directors have adopted the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements.

Company activities and impact

TRFK (TRFK) has impacted the community in many ways 2024-2025: 1. TRFK donates £1 per book sales to install clean water in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Kenya. This has helped the local community buy books to help global need as well as learning new cooking skills from the book. 2. Purbrook Park School visited the water pump in Kenya and learnt about the importance of water and it's need in other countries. This school has also put the cookery book on their curriculum to help support E and D on their food curriculum. They also had a workshop about spice mixing and the story of TRFK. 3. The Queen's Hotel chefs cooked form the cookery book Feb 2024 and has the dance students from HSDC dancing, beauty students on henna make-up, media students filming. The event connected the community and raised for clean water pumps. This event allowed local students to showcase their skills. 4. TRFK has supported local comedians to share their skills of comedy for clean water in the world. 5. TRFK ran a 90 min aqua aerobics class to raise for clean water with Pompey fitness. The event encouraged the local community to get fit, have fun and raise for a cause globally and locally. Money raised from this event also helped to support the delivery of local workshops about saving water and cooking with spices in local schools. It also helped to create workshops to create specials on school menus for clean water. 6. HSDC students learnt how to cook an authentic curry and learnt about cooking techniques and cooking from a different culture. 7. TRFK created the UMMI mix a spice mix with a local spice mixer to create a spice sprinkle for clean water in the world. This sprinkle has been sold in the local pubs which brings in new flavours and helping to give. 8. TRFK has trained local chefs in Indian cuisine to create specials on menus for clean water pumps - places include the Churchillian Pub, The Tenth Hole tea and coffeeshop. 9. TRFK have done live cookery lessons to Mind the charity to teach healthy ways of cooking as well as learning how to use spices for the health and benefits about heathy cooking. 10. Portsmouth University benefitted by TRFK being part of their BCP where 4 business students worked on the business and learnt skills about growth and expansion of the business. 11. HSDC student benefited from the CIC but being taught cookery skills to make and deliver canapes to LinkedIn local event FEB 2025. 12. Portsmouth Uni global week 2025. 13. North End Baptist Church May 2025 - Kids from the church listened to the TRFK story for inspiration and raised over £1000 for clean water though creative ideas such as bake sales, reading, sports and more. 14. Shaping Portsmouth event Victorious raised 15 clean water pumps by encouraging locals to take part in games at Victorious to bring people together. 15. Specials on menus for clean water the Dolphin Pub chefs taught skills how to cook a curry and use this knowledge to create dishes for clean water in the world.
