Over the past year, the She Inspires Foundation has delivered a series of practical, community-centred initiatives aimed at improving financial wellbeing, confidence, and resilience among women, families, and vulnerable communities. Our work has focused on meeting people where they are with compassion, clarity, and tools they can use in daily life. Orange Meet-Ups: Safe Spaces for Financial Wellbeing We launched and expanded Orange Meet-Ups and Let’s Talk Money webinars and informal gatherings offering financial advice, peer support, and confidential one-to-one consultations. These sessions helped attendees navigate Universal Credit, housing, employment rights, taxation, savings, and financial coercion. Many women shared painful stories of debt left in their name and long-term financial control. The meet-ups gave them practical guidance and, equally important, a space where they finally felt heard. Our work has been guided by leading practitioners: Kaye Price, financial planner specialising in survivors of financial abuse, Alison Marsh, business and finance strategist, Jenna Atkinson, family law specialist in domestic abuse cases. Their insights helped shape our safeguarding, content, and advice pathways. Financial Literacy for Children: Books & School Workshops Recognising the need to start early, we created four financial literacy books, including resources centred around Molly the Money Butterfly, to help children understand money with confidence and curiosity. We delivered workshops in primary schools, bringing financial literacy directly to classrooms where it’s needed most. These sessions introduced children to saving, sharing, budgeting, and understanding value in simple, joyful ways. This work also strengthens the wider Empower 50K Girls mission by laying essential foundations in financial wellbeing long before problems arise. Building Community & Reducing Isolation Across all programmes, the strongest impact has been connection. Women built supportive networks, older participants found reassurance, and survivors of abuse felt less alone. The sense of community has become as powerful as the financial guidance itself. Next Steps Due to strong demand, Orange Meet-Ups hope to continue, supported by our advisor board and local partnerships. We will keep expanding our children’s financial literacy resources and school workshops, respond to community feedback, and ensure our support remains practical, warm, and accessible. This year has shown one truth again and again: when you create safe spaces and offer clear, compassionate guidance, people rise. The She Inspires Foundation is proud to stand alongside them and the work continues.
Our stakeholders this year included the Bolton Sixth Form, Mini Mind Matters and She Inspires Limited, alongside Kaye Price, Alison Marsh and Jenna Atkinson. We have continued with our financial advisory group linked to the CIC as financial literacy is continuing as a key area of needed support. We have consulted with these stakeholders throughout the year to assess the ongoing role for our C.I.C. which we considered likely to both receive traction and fill a gap in the sector.
Total Directors’ Remuneration for year was £5,695 (£3,235 to G.Brennan by invoice, £2,460 to R.Hanks by invoice). There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
