During the financial year, the company has delivered inclusive football sessions designed to create a welcoming and accessible environment for a diverse range of participants, including refugees, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals facing financial barriers. The company’s activities have benefited the community in the following ways: - Participants from underrepresented and marginalised groups have been able to access regular football sessions in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment, promoting both physical and mental wellbeing. - The company has operated a donation-based model, ensuring that individuals are not excluded due to financial constraints. Over the course of the year, approximately 35% of participants were able to attend sessions despite being unable to afford standard fees. - Sessions have been structured to emphasise respect, inclusion, and mindfulness, creating a positive alternative to more competitive or exclusionary sporting environments. - The company has facilitated opportunities for social connection and community building through regular sessions, as well as participation in inclusive tournaments and mixed-gender 11-a-side friendly matches. - By maintaining a mixed-gender and inclusive approach, the company has supported greater equality of access to sport and encouraged participation from individuals who may not otherwise engage in traditional football settings. Overall, the company has contributed to improving access to sport, reducing social isolation, and promoting inclusion and equality within the community.
