Rebels Boxing Gym CIC has provided high-quality and intensive boxing training for members of the local community. Such training has been provided either at discounted rates, or, more importantly, for free to those members who are from an economically disadvantaged backgrounds, unemployed, in full time education, or otherwise unable to afford it. The gym has over 40 regularly training members. The coaches have also worked with young people who have been referred to by social services, schools or police, to engage them in discovering healthier pursuits, forming positive social relationships and finding role models, as well as building discipline, confidence and self-esteem through the sport of boxing.
