2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

Turnover
Turnover comprises subscriptions due from members for the year.

Freehold interest
The company acquired the freehold interest of Dune Crest in 1987 at a cost of £18,523.
This freehold interest has been revalued to nil following the grant of 999 year lease to 11 of the 13 flat owners.
