Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 March 2026 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

Company activities and impact

During the financial year, Local Digital Services Platform C.I.C. did not carry out any operational or trading activities. The company's primary function was to hold the intellectual property for the "Find My Child a School Place" (FMCASP) platform. The FMCASP platform continues to be used by Buckinghamshire Council to support the delivery of school admissions services to residents. Although the company itself was not directly involved in the operation of the platform, its ownership of the intellectual property enables the continued provision of this digital public service. Operational support, hosting and maintenance of the platform were undertaken by Unboxed Consulting Limited. The directors consider that maintaining stewardship of this asset aligns with the company's community interest objectives by safeguarding a digital service that benefits local authorities and families.
