| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| Critical accounting judgements and key sources of estimation uncertainty |
| In preparing the financial statements of the company, the directors are required to make judgements, estimates and assumptions that affect the application of accounting policies and the reported amounts of assets, liabilities, income and expenditure. |
| After careful review, the directors confirm that there are no critical accounting judgements or key sources of estimation uncertainty that have had a material impact on the company’s financial statements for the year. |
| Charges to tenants |
| Charges to tenants represent estate management fees receivable for the year, excluding value added tax. Charges to tenants are recognised to the extent they offset costs payable for the year associated with managing the estate. |
| Financial instruments |
| The company only enters into basic financial instruments transactions that result in the recognition of financial assets and liabilities like trade and other accounts receivable and payable, loans from banks and other third parties and loans to related parties and investments in non-puttable ordinary shares. |
| Trade and other debtors |
| Short term debtors are measured at transaction price, less any impairment. Loans receivable are measured initially at fair value, net of transaction costs, and are measured subsequently at amortised cost using the effective interest method, less any impairment |
