1a. Basis Of Accounting
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention.
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with FRS102 section 1A - The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland and the Companies Act 2006 .





1b. Investments
Acquired online gaming websites are initially recognised at cost and included within fixed assets. The assets are reviewed annually for valuation using market evidence for comparable digital assets where available. In determining the carrying value, management applies judgement having regard to factors including trading performance, the sustainability of revenues and prevailing market conditions at the balance sheet date. The valuation adopted for the year reflects management's assessment of fair value at the reporting date.

These assets comprise online gaming websites, including acquired websites which continue to benefit from ongoing development, maintenance and marketing investment by the group. The directors have considered the carrying value of these assets at the reporting date by reference to market evidence for comparable digital assets, underlying trading performance and prevailing market conditions. Following that review, the directors concluded that it is appropriate to retain the assets in the financial statements at the historical cost as this is not materially different from the fair value assessment at 31 December 2025.
