During the financial year ended 30 April 2025, Life Transitions Housing CIC was in its initial establishment phase and had not yet commenced operational activities. As such, no direct services were delivered to beneficiaries during this period. The company became operational in the winter of 2025, following the year end, at which point it began implementing its planned programme of activities. The organisation’s intended activities include delivering support services to vulnerable young adults within the local community, with a focus on developing independence and essential daily living skills to support their transition towards self-sufficient adulthood. To promote holistic development, the company plans to deliver workshops and seminars covering mental health and wellbeing, financial literacy, and educational support. These sessions are designed to equip individuals with practical knowledge, strengthen decision-making, and build the emotional resilience required to navigate everyday life. In addition, the company intends to collaborate with other Community Interest Companies specialising in sporting activities, providing structured opportunities for service users to engage with peers, build confidence, and participate actively in community life. The directors expect that these activities will deliver meaningful community benefit by improving life outcomes for vulnerable young adults, reducing reliance on statutory services, reducing reliance on statutory services, and promoting greater social inclusion and community engagement.
