Basis of preparing the Financial Statements
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A Small Entities.Income :Income represents members' subscriptions, rack rents, income from events and donations receivable in the year.Fixed Assets and Depreciation:Depreciation is provided to write off the cost less the estimated residual value of tangible fixed assets by equal instalments over their estimated useful economic lives as follows:Equipment - 5 yearsPontoons - 10 yearsNo depreciation is provided on freehold land and buildings.
Presentation Currency
The accounts are presented in £ sterling.
