COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

ICEGUYS CIC

Company Number: 13490915 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 July 2025

Company activities and impact

Iceguys’ range of activities have benefited the community by creating safe social spaces for adult men to come together. Our walking football sessions give men the opportunity to take part in physical activity that is not too dependent on fitness levels. Our guitar programme has been successful in giving men a chance to learn something new, if they’ve never played before, or improve their playing if they already play. The programme has a beginner section and a players section. Some of our beginners have been with us since the first programme in 2024. Learning a musical instrument can benefit mental and social health and the feedback has been very positive. Our beach gatherings have continued in three locations. Sunderland, Tyneside, and Ayrshire. Regular attendees often talk about the stress relief they get from the company, the fresh air, and if they take a dip, the cold water. Our mental health workshops, which we see as the cornerstone of what Iceguys will do going forwards, have been an important educational tool for men to learn about a number of mental health subjects, discuss their own issues, and be able to to receive support and make sense of how they’re feeling. Overall, our slow and steady growth model has given us all a chance to improve, build our community, and support each other in a positive way.
