As part of our commitment to community impact, our company has actively supported women from a local women’s aid refuge centre by providing opportunities to engage with the outdoors. We have organised and delivered guided outdoor sessions where participants are introduced to practical skills such as navigation, basic survival techniques, and confidence-building activities. These experiences are designed to create a safe, supportive environment where individuals can step outside their comfort zones, reconnect with nature, and develop new capabilities. Through this initiative, we aim to support personal rehabilitation by helping participants rebuild confidence, improve resilience, and foster a sense of independence. Feedback from participants has highlighted increased self-esteem and a renewed sense of empowerment following their involvement. We believe that access to the outdoors can play a meaningful role in recovery and wellbeing, and we remain committed to continuing this work as part of our wider social responsibility efforts.
Our key stakeholders include the clients who attend our sessions, the guides and leaders who deliver our programmes, the managers of partner organisations we work with, and our funders. Clients are at the heart of our work, and we focus on delivering meaningful experiences that support their confidence, wellbeing, and personal development. Our guides and leaders play a critical role in ensuring sessions are safe, inclusive, and impactful, using their expertise to support participants effectively. We work closely with managers from partner organisations, such as women’s aid refuge centres, to ensure our programmes meet the needs of those they support and are delivered in a way that aligns with safeguarding and wellbeing priorities. Our funders are essential in enabling us to provide these opportunities. We maintain regular communication with them to demonstrate the impact of our work, ensure transparency, and show how their support contributes to positive community outcomes. By engaging with all stakeholders, we ensure our services are responsive, collaborative, and deliver meaningful benefits to the community.
