Company activities and impact

During the financial year, the company supported the early years family music workforce through training, CPD, and the development of its online platform, The Hub. The Hub provides practitioners with access to resources, repertoire, and a community of practice, enabling them to strengthen and sustain their work with families. By equipping group leaders with evidence-informed approaches and practical skills, the company has contributed to improving the quality and consistency of music-making experiences for babies, young children and their families across a range of community settings. Practitioners supported by the company reach large numbers of families each week, creating a wider community benefit. This includes supporting wellbeing, reducing isolation, and fostering inclusive environments where families feel welcomed and valued. The company’s focus on workforce development also contributes to a more confident and sustainable sector, leading to longer-term positive impact for the communities served.
