Company activities and impact

NATUREPATH CIC delivers nature-based activities for local residents at the Secret Garden, a community allotment located in Boscombe, Bournemouth. The sessions are primarily conducted outdoors and are designed to support participants in developing personal self-care practices that contribute to improved mental health and overall wellbeing. The activities promote peer support within a group setting, fostering a sense of belonging, inclusion, and community connection. This approach aims to enhance participants’ confidence and encourage greater social cohesion. The organisation supports individuals from all backgrounds, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or other protected characteristics. It works particularly with people experiencing recovery, social isolation or loneliness, and those affected by mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression, as well as individuals with neurodiversity, including ADHD. Activities commenced on 12 March 2025 with a Mindful Photography workshop. This was subsequently followed by monthly “Nurtured by Nature” sessions, each of which is themed in accordance with the season and includes nature-based creative and crafting activities.
