The financial statements have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

In accordance with Section 444 of the Companies Act 2006, the Income Statement has not been delivered.

1.	STATUTORY INFORMATION

Tag Scientific Ltd is a private company, limited by shares , registered in England and Wales. The company's registered number and registered office address can be found on the Company Information page.

The presentation currency of the financial statements is the Pound Sterling (£).

2.	ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

Turnover

Turnover represents the fair value of consideration received or receivable net of VAT and trade discounts and represents the amount receivable for goods supplied and services rendered.

Revenue from the sale of laboratory consumables is recognised when goods are invoiced and despatched to customers and is therefore recognised when the significant risks and rewards of ownership of the goods have transferred to the buyer.

Foreign currencies

Assets and liabilities in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rates of exchange ruling at the balance sheet date. Transactions in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rate of exchange ruling at the date of transaction. Exchange differences are taken into account in arriving at the operating result.

Financial instruments

Financial liabilities, financial assets and equity instruments are classified according to the substance of the contractual arrangements entered into. An equity instrument is any contract that evidences a residual interest in the assets of the entity after deducting all of its financial liabilities.

Impairment policy

At each balance sheet date, the company reviews the carrying amount of its assets to determine whether there is any indication that any items have suffered an impairment loss. If any such indication exists, the recoverable amount of an asset is estimated in order to determine the extent of the impairment loss, if any. Where it is not possible to estimate the recoverable amount of an asset, the Company estimates the recoverable amount of the cash-generating unit to which the asset belongs.

7.	DISCLOSURE UNDER SECTION 444(5B) OF THE COMPANIES ACT 2006

As the directors report and income statement have been omitted from the filing copy of the financial statements, the following information in relation to the audit report on the statutory financial statements is provided in accordance with section 444(5B) of the Companies Act 2006.

8.	ULTIMATE PARENT COMPANY

The immediate and ultimate parent company is GA International Inc., a company incorporated in Canada, by virtue of its 100% shareholding in the company. GA International Inc. is registered at 4455 Rue Louis-B.-Mayer, Laval, Quebec, H7P 6B5, Canada. The financial results of Tag Scientific Limited are not included in any consolidated financial statements.

9.	ULTIMATE CONTROLLING PARTY

The ultimate controlling party is G Ambartsoumian.

10.	RELATED PARTY EXEMPTION

The company has taken advantage of exemption, under the terms of Financial Reporting Standard 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland', not to disclose related party transactions with wholly owned subsidiaries within the group.
