For the year ending 31 July 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover is recognized on an earned basis and excludes Value Added Tax as the company is not registered for VAT. All turnover is earned within the United Kingdom.

Company activities and impact

The New Works Ballet Theatre CIC("NWBT") was formed to promote dance and theatre performances for all. The company now includes a diverse range of individuals from professional/semi professional dancers some of whom have disabilities to aspiring dancers from across the local and wider community. The company undertakes to rehearse and provide performances to the highest professional quality that it can which gives great satisfaction and confidence to all those taking part. The overarching goal always is that it is open to all.
