Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 March 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover represents rent receivable net of VAT. Turnover is recognised on accruals basis and in accordance with rental agreements, these rental agreements all ceased in a prior year when all the investment properties were sold. The company currently has no trading turnover.

    Valuation information and policy

    Investments are initially measured at cost and subsequently measured at cost less any accumulated impairment losses. Cash and cash equivalents include cash in hand and deposits held at call with banks with original maturities of three months or less. Basic financial assets, including debtors and cash and bank balances, are initially measured at transaction price and subsequently measured at amortised cost. Financial liabilities are initially recognised at transaction price and subsequently measured at amortised cost using the effective interest rate method.
