    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Other accounting policies

    Basis of the preparation The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain fixed assets. Going concern These accounts have been prepared on the going concern basis, on the understanding that the directors and share holders will continue to financial support the company during this uncertain period.

Company activities and impact

During the reporting period, WINDRUSH COMMONWEALTH SERVICE - OXFORD CIC engaged with key stakeholders in the Windrush Community in Oxford and nationally. This included regular planning meetings and coordination of forthcoming community events and initiatives. The company also provided support to a community member with a Windrush case involving his mother. This included assisting with enquiries submitted to the Windrush Help Team at the Home Office and discussions with the client’s mother and lawyers to help them progress their case for a court hearing.

Consultation with stakeholders

Ongoing consultations were held with the Oxford Windrush Group and with the WNO (Windrush National Organisation) to identify and advance the needs of the Windrush Generation in Oxford and nationally.
