By providing essential food items; hot meals and health education; especially around high blood pressure which is commonly found within the black ethnic community; we will help people within the local community to overcome food poverty and health crises. Our food banks will benefit primarily the BAME community but are inclusive to all families within the community who are struggling to afford essential food items. Incorporating hot meal options as part of the food banks will allow individuals to establish meaningful connections with other families within the community and allow them to not feel alone in their financial struggles; creating a safe and supportive environment for discussions around finical strain and health to take place with no judgement.
The company's stakeholders are resident in Dagenham, Stratford, Romford and BAME communities. The directors of the company have lived in the community for over some years and therefore the directors have more insight to the need of BAME in the community. Feedback through interviews which were mostly positive and suggestions welcomed on how to meet their needs effectively.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
