Zenrise Community Wellness delivered accessible, community-focused mind–body health activities aimed at improving physical, mental, and social wellbeing. During the financial year, the company provided weekly sessions of Qigong and mindful movement practices, with a particular focus on supporting underserved and diverse populations. These activities created inclusive, welcoming spaces where individuals could engage in gentle physical activity regardless of age, fitness level, or health status. Participants reported improvements in mobility, pain management, relaxation, and overall wellbeing. The sessions also fostered a sense of community connection, helping to reduce social isolation and promote positive mental health. A key aspect of the company’s impact was removing barriers to participation. Sessions were delivered at no cost in a local, accessible community park, enabling individuals who may not typically engage in traditional fitness environments to take part. In addition to physical health benefits, the company promoted education around self-care, breathwork, and stress management online empowering participants with tools to support their long-term health and wellbeing. Overall, Zenrise Community Wellness contributed to improving quality of life within the community by increasing access to holistic, preventative health practices and creating supportive environments for sustained engagement in wellbeing activities.
