Company activities and impact

Nature & Nurture is an outdoor learning environment intended to foster each child’s connection to nature and their innate curiousity. During this financial year we were setting up to offer flexible and high quality Ofsted registered childcare for up to 10 children, as well as school holiday activities, stay-and-play sessions, infant feeding support, and seasonal workshops such as gardening. Our intention is to create a supportive hub for nature-loving families to learn, connect, and thrive. We aim to support social and emotional wellbeing with circle time, gentle conflict resolution, and plenty of games, toys, books, and eco-friendly art activities. Children are invited to be involved in physical wellbeing activities such as yoga, gardening, and preparing healthy food and drink. We wish to help nurture a generation who are autonomous, kind, resilient, and respectful guardians of the natural world. We also support local families and parental mental health through our weekly family circles, which have positively benefitted more than 35 local families and forged lasting support networks and friendships.
