Consultation with stakeholders

We have a large community following of over 30,000 people on facebook and we use this way of testing ideas and gauging interest for projects and activities. Our engagement rates are high with an average post reaching 22,000 people and lots of interaction. We ask attendees at our events for feedback and have an ideas box to take forward new ideas. We also work closely with our local public sector agencies including the local authority and police and our MP’s Office. We are members of the coalfields voluntary sector group and ensure we liaise with other organisations to ensure we fill gaps in provision and don’t duplicate services. Our services are then developed to address any feedback. We are part of the “local listeners” project. We regularly post surveys to our Facebook group from Sunderland City Council “let’s talk” project as well as other services.
