Company Number: 12164095 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 August 2025

Company activities and impact

The company focuses on supporting individuals with Trisomy 21 and their families through the distribution of welcome packs. We co-host a monthly mental health support group for parents of children with SEND. Host a weekly Signing group. Host inclusive social events. Partnering with other organisations to improve service access, for example working with The Maternity voices partnership. These activities align with our mission to promote inclusion, emotional wellbeing and community empowerment.

Consultation with stakeholders

Speaking to people with Down's syndrome and parent carers, they are happy with how the signing sessions are going. We've been asked to create a new session for people who are not as skilled at using sign supported speech. People are happy with the contents of welcome packs and different elements speak to different new parents. Signposting supports positive mental health and wellbeing as well as access to a wider support system. People would like more inclusive events and education-we would need additional funding and skilled staff to provide this level of support.
