Curious crafty provides workshops in the local community. we believe in the power of art to make changes for the better, improving mental health for participiants, improving confidence and creating a great sense of joy and community cohesion. We have created themed workshops with out comes that show care and love for the communities we work with for example- making a story mat for Didsbury library created from artworks printed by local children celebrating and depicting the beautiful plants in Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens We have supported well over 500 people with joyful art projects over the past year working with Manchester City Council, The Lowry arts centre, LGBT Proud2bParents, Manchester Pride , Stockport Pride and Whalley Rangers and many other organisations.
Our Stakeholders are other organisations and people using the services. We collect feedback from the people we work with and are in constant conversations with the organisations we work with. We adapt constantly to changing needs and consult with organisations over ideas about making workshops better and more inclusive. Most recently we have been meeting to discuss improving experiences when attending workshops for SEND users, what initiatives we can employ to do that our findings have been used by specific materials and informed strategies in the learning environment. We have collected feedback at our sessions for Holiday Activity Fund in Manchester libraries and have adapted sessions to suit the audience. So that children attending the sessions feel a sense of accomplishment.
