COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

RENOVATE COMMUNITY REPAIR C.I.C.

Company Number: 15729236 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 May 2025

Company activities and impact

The company has started by offering domestic construction work and home repair work for vulnerable individuals such as plumbing and electrical installation either free of charge or at a reduced rate. It has set up a service whereby residents can pay a monthly fee for a service that covers home maintenance again at a reduced fee. They have renovated a community hub. One of the most commendable aspects of this renovation was the focus on sustainability. The team worked closely with Innovate Volunteering to embrace eco-friendly practices, primarily through the ‘preloved clothing and household items’ initiative. Not only does this support the community by recycling items, but it also helps in reducing waste and promoting sustainable living, something they're very passionate about at Renovate. Every nail, every beam, and every decision was made with the community in mind.
