    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Other accounting policies

    Going Concern The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis. The company's ongoing activities are dependent upon the continued support of the directors who have undertaken to provide such support for the foreseeable future. If the going concern basis were not appropriate, adjustments would have to be made to reduce the value of assets to their recoverable amount, to provide for any further liabilities that may arise and to reclassify fixed assets as current assets and long term liabilities as current liabilities.

Sports 2 Unite CIC is a community-focused organisation established to improve physical health, mental wellbeing, and social inclusion through accessible sports, fitness, and wellbeing activities. During the financial year ending 31 October 2025, the company worked to support individuals and families across Birmingham and the West Midlands by delivering opportunities for people of all ages to engage in positive physical activity and community-based wellbeing sessions. Our activities included organising walking groups, fitness sessions, badminton, cricket, wellbeing meetings, and community engagement events designed to reduce isolation, improve confidence, and promote healthier lifestyles. We also focused on supporting individuals affected by cost-of-living pressures by providing low-cost or free opportunities for exercise, social connection, and personal development. The company aims to bring communities together by creating inclusive environments where people from diverse backgrounds can participate equally, build relationships, and improve both physical and mental wellbeing. The impact on the community has included increased social connection, improved confidence, better physical activity levels, reduced loneliness, and stronger support networks for local residents.
