Fizz Pop Science provides engaging, curriculum-linked science enrichment activities for primary-aged children through after-school clubs. During the financial year, the company worked with 1154 children aged 5 to 11 at 60 primary schools across Surrey, Sussex and Kent, delivering a wide range of hands-on science experiences designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and a lifelong interest in science. Our programmes cover a broad range of scientific disciplines, including chemistry, physics, biology, geology and environmental science. Through interactive workshops, children explore topics such as electricity, light, sound, materials, the human body, space, evolution, plants and sustainability. Each session is highly practical, encouraging children to investigate scientific concepts through experimentation, observation and problem-solving. Activities often include creating models, conducting experiments and taking home items they have made, helping to extend learning beyond the classroom. Fizz Pop Science benefits the community by making high-quality science education accessible, exciting and memorable for children of all backgrounds and abilities. Our sessions help to build confidence, develop critical thinking and foster teamwork, while supporting schools in enriching their curriculum provision. By nurturing enthusiasm for STEM subjects at an early age, we aim to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers and innovators. Our environmental workshops also encourage children to think about sustainability and their role in protecting the planet, helping to create informed and responsible future citizens.
There has been no stakeholder consultation held but please see the separate sheet for some feedback received from children.
