AUDHD COMMUNITY EMBRACED CIC

Directors' report period ended 31 July 2025

The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 July 2025

Principal activities of the company

AuDHD Community Embraced has provided consistent community support throughout the financial year, by running weekly daytime parent support groups, alongside monthly evening meet-ups held at the local Red Kite Special School. These sessions have created a safe, understanding and non judgemental environment for parents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people, many of whom experience isolation, emotional exhaustion and difficulties accessing appropriate support elsewhere. Across the year, AuDHD Community Embraced has delivered a range of wellbeing activities, peer-support opportunities, craft sessions and informative workshops designed to empower families with practical knowledge, coping strategies and emotional support along with opportunities to socialise in a safe and understanding environment . The purpose of these activities has been to help parents better navigate the day to day challenges associated with autism, ADHD and related needs, whilst improving confidence, resilience and family wellbeing within the home environment. The groups have enabled parents to build supportive relationships with others facing similar circumstances, reducing social isolation and encouraging the sharing of experiences, advice and practical strategies that can be transferred into everyday family life. By providing regular opportunities for connection, support and education within the local community, AuDHD Community Embraced has helped families feel less alone, more informed and better equipped to advocate for both themselves and their children.
