In the last financial year membership of the Group has doubled resulting in meetings being extended. Meetings are currently held twice a month previously being once a month. Membership has continued to be solely offered to people affected by dementia. The prevalent aim of the group continues to be offering and receiving peer support when required. Members agree that peer support is an overriding benefit for someone living with dementia. Alongside sharing peer support members are keen to get involved in initiatives relating to to dementia. Members want to continue to demonstrate that you can live well with dementia and be a valued member of society.
