Principal activities of the company
Additional information
As this was the company’s first accounting period following incorporation, the main focus was on establishing the foundation for future delivery. The Director worked on shaping the company’s vision, community benefit model, programme ideas, partnerships and practical delivery plans. Prime Balance CIC’s approach is based on the idea that a balanced life is achieved through harmony across health, relationships, social connection, cultural identity, learning and personal growth. The company aims to create opportunities for people to come together, share experiences, learn practical skills and improve wellbeing in a supportive and inclusive environment. The company’s proposed activities include: - culturally inclusive cooking classes that bring diverse communities together; - motivational and educational talks on health, wellbeing and personal development; - physical activities such as yoga and other gentle exercise sessions; - community food and recipe projects that reflect different cultural backgrounds; - development of a Health Garden to promote access to fresh produce, outdoor activity and social interaction; - community events designed to reduce isolation and strengthen local relationships. The Director believes that these activities will benefit the community by improving social cohesion, supporting healthier lifestyles, encouraging cultural understanding, reducing isolation and creating safe spaces for people to participate in positive community life.
