REVIEW OF DEVELOPMENTS AND BASIS OF PREPARATION OF THE ACCOUNTS

The Company has been dormant within the meaning of section 480 of the Companies Act 2006 throughout the period. Key performance indicators are not therefore considered necessary for the understanding of the development, performance or position of the business of the Company.

It is intended that in future accounting periods the company will act as a holding company. Accordingly, the directors have prepared the accounts on a going concern basis.

PROFIT AND LOSS ACCOUNT

No profit and loss account is presented with these financial statements because the Company has not received income, incurred expenditure or recognised any gains or losses in the year ended 30 September 2025. There have been no movements in shareholders’ funds during year ended 30 September 2025.

In accordance with section 480 of the Companies Act 2006, the Company, being dormant, is exempt from the obligation to appoint auditors as otherwise required by section 485 of that Act.

For the financial year ended 30 September 2025 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 480 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to dormant companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

Pyramid Schools (Plymouth) Design & Build Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales. The registered office is 1 Park Row, Leeds, United Kingdom, LS1 5AB.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with FRS 102 “The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland” (“FRS 102”) and the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 as applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime. The disclosure requirements of section 1A of FRS 102 have been applied other than where additional disclosure is required to show a true and fair view.

The financial statements are prepared in sterling, which is the functional currency of the company. Monetary amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £.

The company has not traded during the year or the preceding financial period. During this time, the company received no income and incurred no expenditure and therefore no Profit and loss account is presented in these financial statements.

The average monthly number of persons (including directors) employed by the company during the year was nil (2024: nil).

The Company is wholly owned by Environments for Learning Limited, a company which is registered in England and having registered address of 1 Park Row, Leeds, United Kingdom, LS1 5AB. Environments for Learning is the smallest and largest group in which the Company's results are consolidated, with copies of the consolidated group accounts available from Companies House.

In the opinion of the Directors, there is no ultimate controlling party.
