During the financial year, the company operated as a not-for-profit community football academy providing grassroots football opportunities to the local community. The company delivered regular training sessions, coaching, and organised football activities for participants ranging from children aged 10 through to adults over 45 years of age. The company’s activities benefited the community by promoting physical health, fitness, and wellbeing through regular participation in sport. In addition, the academy supported social inclusion by providing an accessible and welcoming environment where individuals of different ages, backgrounds, and abilities could take part in organised football. The football sessions helped develop teamwork, discipline, confidence, and social interaction among participants. The company also provided a structured and safe environment for young people to engage in positive recreational activity, helping to support community cohesion and reduce social isolation. Any income generated during the year was reinvested into the running of the academy, including coaching provision, equipment, pitch hire, and the delivery of community football activities, ensuring that the organisation continued to operate for the benefit of the local community.
The company’s stakeholders include players, parents and guardians, coaches, volunteers, and members of the local community who participate in or are affected by the football academy’s activities. Stakeholder consultation has taken place on an ongoing and informal basis throughout the financial year. Feedback has been gathered through regular communication during training sessions, match days, and direct discussions with players, parents, and coaches. This feedback has covered areas such as training structure, session times, player development, and overall accessibility of sessions. Where appropriate, the company has responded to this feedback by making adjustments to training schedules, improving session organisation, and ensuring that activities remain accessible and suitable for different age groups and ability levels.
