COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

RABBLE GAMES CIC

Company Number: 14803841 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 30 April 2025

Company activities and impact

The company runs Rabble Games, a sports club with a focus on making adult fitness fun and sociable. The CIC launched in 2023, with the previous limited company being taken over by the community. Rabble Games has benefitted the community in the following ways: 620 fitness sessions across all locations, broken down as: 270 in 6 locations across London boroughs; 150 fitness sessions in Cambridge; and 50 in each of Bicester, Worthing, Aylesbury and Edinburgh. 420 different people have played Rabble in London this year, and we have averaged 12 players per session. The Rabble community has organised at least 60 social events this year across locations, including a full day tournament where all locations come together to play games. Rabble has provided part-time employment for 12 local residents Rabble has provided volunteer opportunities for 4 people to gain experience in marketing, social media, and event creation. Injected £5,000 into 5 local schools and 1 community centre across London boroughs, and Cambridge Rabble members have got fitter, felt more connected and part of a community

Consultation with stakeholders

The company’s stakeholders are members of the Rabble community, and any venues we use, such as local schools and community centres. We have consulted with our members, including the instructors and the members who volunteer with marketing activities and event creation. We collect feedback after our large events in the form of a survey, to make sure our larger events always hit the mark in terms of price point, value for money, safety and enjoyment. We have collected feedback which allowed us to reduce the price of the Cambridge sessions to make it even more affordable for people to attend, including those in lower income bracket. In response to talking to individuals, we have created a Code of Conduct for all our players, a Safeguarding policy, and a formal Complaints Procedure.
