NOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS
1 Statutory information
A K Benedict Ltd is a private company, limited by shares, registered in England and Wales, registration number 08820715. The registered office is 26 Ringwood Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN22 8TA, England.
2 Directors' advances, credit and guarantees
The company has two directors’ loan accounts. At 31 December 2025, one director’s loan account was overdrawn by £23,518 (2024: £12,415), whilst the second director’s loan account remained in credit throughout the year. Interest was charged on the overdrawn balance at rates of 2.25% and 3.75% applicable during the year. The overdrawn balance is unsecured and repayable on demand. The company may be liable to additional corporation tax under Section 455 of the Corporation Tax Act 2010 where any part of the overdrawn balance remains outstanding more than nine months after the year end.
3 Average number of employees
During the year the average number of employees was 2 (2024: 2).

For the year ending 31 December 2025 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies. The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions of the Companies Act 2006 and FRS 105, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime. The accounts have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime. The profit and loss account has not been delivered to the Registrar of Companies.
