Company Number: 15896984 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 August 2025

Company activities and impact

Natchathiram CIC was established to support children and families, particularly within underserved communities, by providing educational support, SEND advocacy, parent guidance, and community-based resources. During this financial year, the company focused on establishing its operations, developing awareness of its services, and beginning direct community engagement to improve access to educational support and information for families.

Consultation with stakeholders

Natchathiram CIC has engaged with stakeholders including parents and carers of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), education professionals, and members of the Tamil community. Consultation has taken place through direct conversations, support enquiries, workshops, and informal feedback from families seeking culturally relevant SEND advice and advocacy. Feedback highlighted barriers including lack of accessible information, difficulty navigating the EHCP process, poor communication from schools and local authorities, and a lack of culturally sensitive support. In response, Natchathiram CIC developed information, advocacy support, and workshops designed to improve understanding, confidence, and access to SEND support services.
