We conducted focus groups with local residents to inform our events programme and service delivery model, ensuring community needs shaped our work. We created a series of accessible how-to-grow guides available online, removing barriers to horticultural knowledge for people who cannot attend in-person sessions. We partnered with local businesses and community members to develop the Carlin Pea Festival, a celebration rooted in local heritage that includes practical growing workshops and provides seeds to participants, enabling them to apply learning at home. We delivered fifty free forest therapy sessions across local woodland spaces, bringing nature-based wellbeing to fifty individuals in the area.
Wild Wood Growers conducted structured focus groups with community members throughout the year to gather feedback on service priorities and event planning. These sessions directly informed our programme design and ensured our offer was responsive to local need rather than assumption-led.
No remuneration was received
